Spiced Apple Cider Mule
A perfect chilled cocktail to make for Thanksgiving, this apple cider mule combines the best flavors of fall and can be made as both a single cocktail or in a pitcher to serve a crowd. Measurements for both methods are listed below. Serve in a rocks glass to show off the beautiful garnishes, or keep it classic with a copper mug.
Spiced Apple Cider Mule Cocktail - Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz vodka (I prefer Titoβs)
- 2 oz apple cider
- 4 oz ginger beer (this one is my favorite)
- ice cubes or whiskey rocks
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 honeycrisp apple slice
- 1 orange peel twist
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add vodka, cider, and ginger beer to a rocks class or a copper mug and stir to combine.
- Add ice and garnish with apple, cinnamon stick, and orange peel.
Spiced Apple Cider Mule Pitcher - Serves 8
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups vodka
- 2 cups apple cider
- 4 cups ginger beer
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- ice cubes
- 1 honeycrisp apple, diced
- 4 orange peel twists
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add vodka, cider, and ginger beer to a glass or copper pitcher and stir to combine.
- Add apples, cinnamon sticks, and orange peels and stir again. Allow the mixture to sit for a little while before serving so the flavors can infuse into the drink.
- Just before serving, add some ice to the pitcher and stir to combine. Serve with glasses and more ice on the side. You could also make this in a punch bowl if you wanted to go a little retro!
