My Favorite Lip Colors for Fall
Whenever the seasons change, it's always fun to experiment with your personal style. Whether it's a new haircut or color, a funky pair of shoes, or a makeup product you've never tried, playing around with your look is a fun and easy way to switch things up. I love working new lip colors into my makeup routine, and every year I get most excited for the rich colors people tend to gravitate to when the weather gets cooler. Below are my top five lip colors for fall, pictured above from left to right:
Tarte Tarteist Lip Crayon in “Mood Ring”
I got this product as a sample from Sephora and I fell in love with the beautiful deep berry shade. What's even better is that it has a cool undertone, which helps to make your teeth look bright white!
Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer in “Clove Pop”
I learned about this unique color while watching this makeup tutorial by Teni Panosian, and I instantly loved how different it was. I’d describe this shade as a blend of milk chocolate, dusty rose, and taupe...fall in a tube!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in “Copenhagen”
This is a deep, rich plum color that’s perfect for when you want to go for a dramatic, vampy look, but don’t want to end up looking like Dracula. Perfect for a cocktail party or a night out!
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drench Lip Splash Lipstick in “Beach Bum”
By now you’ve probably figured out that I have an affinity towards matte lip colors. This lipstick was also in a sample kit that I got from Sephora, and I fell in love with its simultaneously creamy texture and matte finish. The color is perfect for when you want to go one step up from your everyday nude shade.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lip Liner Pencil in “3C Medium Neutral Beige”
While this nude-beige color is perfect for fall, it also happens to be my go-to nude lip shade all year long. I line and fill in my lips with this highly-pigmented pencil, and that’s it...no lipstick needed, and it lasts all day! This one has definitely reached Holy Grail status in my makeup bag.
